BRIDGE TO SUCCESS SCHOLARSHIP
Freshman Scholars (spring 1997 High School Grads NM) must have:
*At least a 2.5 GPA at the end of the first semester.
*Completed twelve credit hours at the end of the first semester.
*Any credits received through the CLEP, ACT, or SAT testing programs, or the
Concurrent Enrollment program, will not be counted toward the minimum hours requirement.
*The Bridge to Success Scholarship is a one time non renewable award.
Students meeting the minimum academic maintenance requirements for
first semester Freshmen will be eligible to receive the Lottery Success Scholarship,
beginning in the spring semester of their freshman year at UNM.

LOTTERY SUCCESS SCHOLARSHIP
Freshman Scholars Spring 1996 NM High school Grads. Must have:
*At least a 2.5 cumulative GPA at the end of the first academic year.
*Completed twenty four credit hours at the end of the first academic year.

Freshman Scholars (spring 1997 NM high school grads) Must have:
*At least a 2.5 GPA at the end of the second semester.
*Completed twenty four credit hours at the end of the first academic year.
*Any credits received through the CLEP, ACT, or SAT testing programs, or the
Concurrent Enrollement program, will not be counted toward the minimum hours requirement.

Sophomore Scholars and above:
*Must have a 2.5 GPA and 12 credit hours per semester for a total of 24 credit
hours for the academic year (fall and spring semesters).
Students may be allowed to make up hour and /or GPA deficiencies during the summer session.
Students must contact the Scholarship Office for detailed information and approval regarding
this option. Approval must be acquired during the spring semester prior to the Summer session.

MUST BE A NM RESIDENT
GRADUATED FROM A NM PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL, ACCREDITED NM PRIVATE HS, OR HAVE OBTAINED AN NM GED
MUST HAVE OBTAINED A HS DIPLOMA OR NM GED IN MAY 1966 OR LATER
MUST BE ENROLLED FULL TIME AT AN ELIGIBLE NM COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY, IN THE FIRST REGULAR SEMESTER IMMEDIATLEY FOLLOWING THE HS GRADUATION
MUST OBTAIN AT LEAST 2.5 GPA DURING THE FIRST COLLEGE SEMESTER.
